About the Club
Every Mile,
an Act of Worship
The Blessing is a community of runners and riders who believe the road is holy ground. We run and ride because Christ never promised an easy road, only that we wouldn’t walk it alone — every hard mile is a small act of faith, proof that we were built to endure, and never meant to endure alone.
Our Story
It Started as a Joke
The Blessing started as a joke. The name came from a line our family has quoted for years — the Christmas-dinner “say the blessing” moment from Christmas Vacation that still gets a laugh around our table every year. It stuck long before there was anything to pin it to.
What it grew into is something we never planned. Some of us run, some of us ride, and a few of us take on the hard thing just to find out if we can. Somewhere in the miles it became a way of following Christ more closely — a place to carry our struggles, to find our edge, and to figure out who we really are when the road gets long. Every time, it’s our faithfulness in the Lord that carries us there.
We are not a race team chasing podiums. We are a family chasing faithfulness — open to every pace, every fitness, and every story. Whether you’re logging your first mile or your ten-thousandth, there is a place for you here.
What Drives Us
Three Things We Hold
Faith
Christ is the reason we lace up. Every run opens with prayer and closes with gratitude — the finish line is never the point.
Family
No one gets dropped. We pace with the slowest, cheer the loudest, and carry each other’s burdens the way we were made to.
Endurance
Hills reveal what’s in us. We train the body to teach the soul — perseverance, humility, and hope that does not disappoint.
Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12:1
Come Run With Us
There’s Room on the Road
All paces, all bikes, all welcome. Reach out and we’ll tell you where the next run or ride rolls out.
